Revisiting Reckoning How Kingdoms of Amalur gets the singleplayer MMORPG right

Recently, I decided to play
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning in memory of its first anniversary in February, knowing he would have to deal with two things that have dominated the discussion of the game: the policy and failures in the wake of 38 Studios and for a game that he said was filled with fancy names and detailed lore meaningless - a model of narrative that I find quite annoying. But when I finally played Reckoning

, I was surprised how much I loved her. I had an immediate visceral reaction to the beauty of the game. It reminded me of the best times I spent in massively multiplayer role-playing, which was totally unexpected.

World of Warcraft the MMORPG that has consumed most of my time with sex was a night elf on the island of Teldrassil. What I learned from this trip that the first character is not related to gameplay, player interaction or story, it is the feeling that the boot area. I remember the lush trees with a little exotic, magical dye, luxurious purple and green, the seemingly perpetual twilight, the evidence of corruption and danger, and music referring to all these things and the history of the elves night. In fact, most of my best experiences playing WoW
took place in the provinces green, corrupt, Feralas with probably my favorite of the ancient world .
